Saunders Lakeland Mountain Marathon.

Saunders was good - weather held up with perfect visibility but incredibly wet underfoot. Day one covered so much bog and tussock (i thought I was in Scotland!), which meant more walking than running. Day 2 a bit better with a few more tracks to get moving on and a rather tough climb early on, but it was Wasdale after all!

H18 Sleeping bag was spot on - more than warm enough and I only wore a short sleeved top and tracksters to sleep in, comfy and ideal amount of room for me. Packed down well into a stuff sack too. Steve Gustard.
