OMM definately a tale of two days - day 1 very cold, crisp but clear with great visibility,
day 2 just as cold but wet and windy, but overall a great couple of days (though i'm sure
there were various times when I didn't think so!) Perhaps not as technical in terms of nav
as say the lakes but just as challenging terrain-wise - lots of straight up and down
with short but deceptively sharp, steep climbs. Good to see somewhere new too.
H18ORR 680 Sleeping bag was excellent yet again - warm, comfy and compact and definately a good all round performer for UK mountain marathons and wild camping.
